Scanline option?

Is there any video plug in with a scanline option?

GSDX has this option built-in, but I wasn't able to find alot of documentation about it. Just press F7 while the game is running to cycle through three options:

- normal
- some sort of hexagonal pattern
- diagonal pattern

This option doesn't seem to get saved in the INI file nor in save states so you have to set it up manually each time you run your game.
