ok i got it to x19 so far this morning and seems to be running fine so i ran CPU-Z and its showing x7-x19 for multiplier and the voltage is all over the place from 1.2-1.425,i attached a TXT file i saved from CPU-Z to show you,i just wanted to know if the multiplier is suppost to change so much from 7-19 and if the voltage is ok jumping around like that

If you left Cool and Quiet on, it's normal for the voltage and frequency to change. It will downclock and downvolt when not much is happening on the CPU, in order to save power and heat.

so i should probably leave that on then?

Yeah, leave it on unless it causes issues. Usually it won't. And leaving it on will extend your CPU life and save power and heat. My chip is 4.4 @ 1.55 volts but it spends most time in Cool and quiet mode at 2400Mhz and 1.15 volts which makes up for the higher voltage I use.

ok so now im at x20 and i changed the cpu voltage up to 1.435 and its booting but after windows 7 loads up the TaskBar goes from transparent to solid and CPU-Z is showing x7-x19 multiplier and 1.056-1.560 cpu voltage ,im starting to think this mobo doesnt like OCing, i know its a low end mobo

*edit*
i went to AMD Catalyst Control Center and messed with the CPU Overdrive and set it to 4200mhz and now CPU-Z is reading the multiplier at x7-x21 and it seems to be stable sept the screen still flicks black really fast 1 time then taskbar turns solid after windows loads up

Do you have a Load line calibration(LLC) option in your BIOS? If you are setting 1.435 and you are reading 1.560, that could be why. 1.560 is too much. Check to see if you have LLC(most GB boards do) and see what its set to and try turning it down a bit.

i checked and LLC is set to Auto and there is 2 other settings Regular and Extreme, I just changed it to Regular and now the max is 1.488

Yeah I have the same exact settings. Auto and Extreme are too much, mine is set to Regular as well.

Have you ran a stress test yet?

i tried running Prime95 when i had it at 4200mhz but it went up to 137*F/57*C so i got scared and stopped it

57C is fine. The max safe temp for your chip is 70C. And if it approaches that t, it will turn down it's own voltage and clock to cool off.

What's important in Prime95 is whether you get errors or not. Let it run a couple hours and see.

FWIW my chip hits about 58C in Prime95, and it's on water.
