Need some quick help. when I take a screenshot in 16:9 for a game with 16:9 option, the screenshot comes out as a 4:3 image.

F8 screenshots are taken at the gpu plugin's internal resolution (before final blit to screen). If you want square pixels, either stretch the image in post-processing or change the gpu plugin's internal resolution.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but....

What internal res is pcsx2's native, x2, x3, x4, x5, and x6 ?

edit: as in those 800x600, 640x480, etc... stuff since I don't memorize them well enough

So 16:9 is 720x480?

If I change it to x3 native then I assume it's 1800x1200? or is it 1920x1080?
right now my screenshots looks like below. While the second pic is in after I tried changing internal res to 1920x1080.

Just use print screen instead of F8, it probably gets the output before it gets stretched to 16:9

In the case of FFXII, the "native" internal res option is 512x448. This is not square pixels, for 4:3 or 16:9.

For this particular game, odd internal resolutions are allowed, so setting internal to 1920x1080 and then using that will work well. For some other games, stretching after the fact is the best way.
