Searching for layer 1?

When ever I try loading devil may cry,I get the message "searching for layer 1".it doesnt load,I then restart pcsx2,load iso again,get the same message,restart,reload,then the game finally does load.it only has happened to me with DMC1.

am I doing something wrong or is this normal? thanks

Something is wrong with your ISO, Devil May Cry 1 is a DVD5 game not a DVD9 thus there is no layer break to find..I suggest you remake your ISO image from your disc using imgburn

Not necessarily Bositman, one of the DBZ games also does this but boots fine in one of the plugin iso loaders.

not necessarily, you can "Acquire" an iso by dumping your own disk.

Acquire is to Obtain, prior to dumping he does not have an iso.

even rama acknowledged its a glitch in the internal iso loader, (since the same iso was used to clone the original disk for my brothers chipped ps2.)

Issue solved, not point on going over this now.
