Setting for a stable fps
#1
Hi,
I'm playing Shadow Tower Abyss
I can't get the fps to be stable.

All I can do is mess with the speed hacks to get it stable for like 10 minutes or so after starting the game then from that it goes crazy up and down even if nothing happening on screen.

Anyone can help me get it to become stable.

Thanx

My hardware
Win8
Intel i5
6 Gb RAM
Nvidia GEFORCE 820M

Anyone can help me get it to become stable.

Did you try lower the resoluation (640/480) and use 4:3 screen for better frame rates ? With this setting I got max frame rates unless the most demanding graphics.

It's the default 640/480.
I just changed Aspect ratio to Fit to windows/screen.

My apologies, I just thought the beginning wasn't necessary.

What do you mean "i just thought the beginning wasn't necessary" ? I don't think you can get max fps with your hardware specs.
Beside lower your resoilation and 4:3 screen you can also try to optimize your hardware and os., it's important and necessary.

That was for @jesalvein it's a fail on my part.

Anyways the problem is getting the fps to be consistent, the fps even goes beyond 60 but after 10 20 min it become crazy and even drop to 20.
When I restart it become fine again.
I don't think my stuff is optimized, it would be ideal actually if it is however I have no idea how. xD
