Settings doesnt save Nvidia GPU as choosen Adapter for Direct3D 11
#1
Im using PCSX2 Nightly v1.7.4919 on a older Laptop.
When i Start the program i can go to Settings - Graphics and set the Renderer as Direct3D 11 and the Adapter as NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M and play all Games.
When i close the program and start it backup the Renderer is still Direct3D 11 but the Adapter is switched to Default, i get an error message on all Games.
Setting the Adapter to either Intel® HD Graphics 3000 or Microsoft Basic Render Driver will save the Setting on next restart, only NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M will reset to Default

I have set my PCSX2 Folder in Documents to read and write, and everytime i change the Adapter to NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M i can see in the Documents\PCSX2\inis\PCSX2 document that the Adapter is set correctly.

On the Laptop Energy Settings are set to high and in Nvidia system Settings the Gpu is set to be always on.

What i could i do to solve this?

I was thinking if a permission problem.
But I'm more on a GPU drivers problem, now.
Both your igpu and dgpu are old, and it's highly possible they won't work with newer versions of pxsx2.
Try updating both, and pray
