Settings for Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter
#1
What settings have been proven to work well with BoF5? I've attempted GSDX10 Hardware mode as well as several combinations of speedhacks but I've only been able to achieve frame rates in the low 30s and text that is not rendered well at all. (Pics to come when I have access to that computer again tomorrow night.)

Specs:
4GB DDR800 RAM, Dual Channel
Intel Core 2 Duo E8600 @ 3.33
GeForce 9800GTX+

If I'm not mistaken this game doesn't run quite well in Pcsx2.

Use the GSdx_SSE41_PGO_DX10 plugin , enable texture filtering, Logarithmic Z and anti aliasing. Works great for me, no bugs, 45 - 60 FPS. Great Game.

PS the DX10 plugin also works on dx9.

With that pc you should be getting more than playable framerates.
Make sure to use the latest beta of pcsx2 and GSdx though.
0.9.6 (or rather the GSdx bundled with it) are slow in this game.

Edit: Oh yay, very old thread Tongue2
