Hi guys, I've been using pscx2 for some time now,
Right now I'm having a blast replaying this game from my childhood, usually I don't bother with the shadows at all but I just couldn't let this one pass.
As you can see the dog that's on the porch is a little bit glitchy, it also applies to everyone that's under a shade, but it's not a texture glitch.
Does anyone have a fix to this problem? It would be very much appreciated.
Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I did and it still has this problem, I'm using the OpenGL software renderer (if that helps) since if I use the hardware there are flickering textures, but this still won't solve the shading problem.

Since this happens in software mode too, it would be a good idea to file a proper bug report
The game is Barnyard, do you know how to fix any texture flickering in Hardware mode though?
I switched back to pcsx2 1.6.0 since 1.7.0 couldn't detect some audio .dll
