I've looked up its compatibility and it seems a lot of people can run it fine. I'm running it from disk and my speed never goes more than 30 fps excluding prerendered cutscenes which cruise around at about 45-50 fps. In software mode the screen flashes and the GUI randomly disappears(at the map selection and when the ring comes up at least). This is sorted out when running on hardware mode but it still runs just as slow(both dx10). Only other games I've played on PCSX2 are from the Disgaea series which work fine(under the ZeroGS plugin).

First of all, try PCSX2 0.9.7.

Second, what's the speed of your Intel Core 2 Duo E6550?

Its speed is 2.33(~2.3) GHz x2 and I'm downloading 0.9.7 now.

Your speed is kinda slow for PS2 games. You could try overclocking it to a higher speed and it would probably run the games better.

Use software such as imgburn to make an ISO image of the game using the disk. Then, run the game again with the ISO instead, and you will see the difference.
