No, there are also other cases. the processor might have used only a little amount of it's load in the
Emotion Engine which leads to lower performance. though, If that was the case then, it should have also influenced all the other games in the same manner. (which is most likely a priority issue)
hence, providing the details I had mentioned in my previous post will lead us to figure out the issue.

Is that while using native(I'm asking because of your settings on the previous page)
At native with your save state I have 130fps.

Yeah that's at native. Putting it up to my usual resolution (4096x3584) and turning AF back on to 16x only drops it by 5FPS.
What kind of EE/GS usage are you seeing?

1.Removing the fps limit at native
EE 55% GS 65% 130fps
2.Native and normal speed
EE 30% GS 30% 60fps
3.6x scaling with fps limit removed
Weird...the same as above but can't go above 62fps

I wonder what's up with my GPU then. Maybe that game likes NVIDIA GPUs better? Blyss Sarania, would you mind trying it yourself please?

Are you sure that GSdx is using your HD 7950 and not your HD 4600(from your cpu)because I just tried my HD4600 and I have 60fps at native and 5fps at 6x scaling.
Try choosing the card, not leaving it at "Default Hardware Device"

I'm sure it's using the card, yeah. Look at the GPU usage graph I posted.

I tested, I get 87FPS at 6x on that save state. My CPU is much weaker, so that really drives the point home.
This is not the first time I've seen it where an AMD card has trouble with a scene and an Nvidia doesn't. Weird because as I recall Gabest has AMD.
