It is a unique problem to this game alone. It renders its backgrounds in a very stupid way, which is super slow in hardware rendering.

I'm very fond of this one as well, it's a great RPG with a good story and fantastic atmosphere. Covenant improved on the gameplay in every way but the story and the atmosphere became too comic-book-like for my tastes.
