Shanwan PS3 controller issue

Hey all, the issue I am having is when I play NCAA 09, before the snap I cannot use the analog sticks going down and right, but its responding going left and up. I have mapped the controller using the game tool followed all the instructions but to no avail. Every other game works flawless until I play that game. I have to use the keybaord to use those directional movements for the analog sticks. Any help would be appreciated.
