Should I Reset My Mac to Factory Settings?
#1
I upgraded my OS from 10.68 to 10.81 in hopes of trying out the newer pcsx2 0.9.6 and 0.9.7. Turns out it performed even worse than snow leopard's version. I tried reinstalling 0.9.6 and 0.9.7 and following the guides by installing the newest xquartz and nvidia cg 3.1 first. Both did not work.

I get the message "The configured GS Plugins was not found." when I launch 0.9.7 from xquartz. Upon checking the plugins in contents/resources/pcsx/plugins, most of them ended in .bundle? Not sure if this is the problem.

I think this has something to do with my /usr/local/ files because I messed around with those when trying to install mac ports in the past. My question is will resetting my mac to factory settings fix this problem?

My macbook specs:
late 2008 aluminum
2.0 GHz intel core 2 duo
8 gig ram
nvidia 9400 256mb

Edit: The Bios I got from my ps2 worked on its own when I was on snow leopard. But I could never play more than 15 min of KH without it crashing on me, thats why I decided to upgrade. Now I can't even pick one of the three weapons lol.
