Lock on in a GTA is a feature for console players (playing with a pad)
You don't need this when using a mouse to play... unless you are disabled and completely unable to aim with a mouse, of course Tongue2

Still wouldn't call it absolutely useless. How do you know what the enemies health is without locking on? Besides I hate the keyboard buttons thus I play with a pad and it's obviously impossible to aim properly with analogs. that last parts obviously just my own opinionSmile

edit: why do you think with the pc version of GTA IV you can lock on?

I think there is an option that let you chose whether you want to display foes's health or not.

No lol, I didn't say you said that. you implied locking on wasn't needed because it's the pc version with a mouse but what about the people who use gamepads with the pc version, it sucks to play like that. I was just saying they must have realised there mistake because they added gamepad locking on in GTAIV (PC).

Well that is what Mods are for. Just use this: http://gtaforums.com/topic/562765-reliiivcasi-ginput/
No need to Config anything just install and play.
The Pc versions still have a lot of advantages and Patches/Mods for basically everything like this one: http://www.gtagarage.com/mods/show.php?id=25368 for restoring missing/bugged effects.

PC version will have less input lag, and ofcourse the mods which are already mentioned. I think a decent graphics/ENB mod will have better graphics than pcsx2 upscaling.
