Lock on in a GTA is a feature for console players (playing with a pad)
You don't need this when using a mouse to play... unless you are disabled and completely unable to aim with a mouse, of course

Still wouldn't call it absolutely useless. How do you know what the enemies health is without locking on? Besides I hate the keyboard buttons thus I play with a pad and it's obviously impossible to aim properly with analogs. that last parts obviously just my own opinion
edit: why do you think with the pc version of GTA IV you can lock on?

I think there is an option that let you chose whether you want to display foes's health or not.

No lol, I didn't say you said that. you implied locking on wasn't needed because it's the pc version with a mouse but what about the people who use gamepads with the pc version, it sucks to play like that. I was just saying they must have realised there mistake because they added gamepad locking on in GTAIV (PC).

PC version will have less input lag, and ofcourse the mods which are already mentioned. I think a decent graphics/ENB mod will have better graphics than pcsx2 upscaling.
