Silent Hill 2 Audio skipping

Everytime I start a FMV in the game it will start off fine, then around 2-3 seconds in the audio will skip and it will sound like theres two audios playing over each other. I was looking at the speed at the top of the window and it isnt at 100% it hovers around 70-85% speed. The game itself plays absolutely fine, but its just the FMV's

Edit: I was playing around with speed hacks I got the FMV's to run at 100-104% so the audio does not skip, but when actually playing the game the game runs at 230% speed. current settings are in this gyazo's

or could you possibley use speedhacks only for fmv's, like a hotkey or something to turn them on and off again?

Hi, I have the same problem. And I also have a problem where the 2nd boss (flesh lips) just disappears in my game. I can't do anything and am stuck in the game.

from the looks of things people dont have this same problem, or wont help one or the other
