Can't seem to get the Widescreen Patch for SLUS-20228 to work.

Using 16:9 option just stretches it, and Widescreen Patch doesn't expand the view.

Your patch works for "fixes" (I activated auxiliary map and no noise), but no Widescreen...

In fact, all your cheats activate, but if I put Window Aspect Ratio to 16:9/Fit screen this happens: https://imgur.com/a/9W1kdCt

FIXED:

I was trying to apply PCSX2 Widescreen/Maori-Jigglypuff's  patches after loading a save state, and I didn't know/expect that PCSX2 save states apparently save old cheats and won't apply new ones when loading save states.

This fix was to enable Cheats, Widescreen Patches, 16:9 Aspect Ratio AND then boot the game and load the last save from memcard (and then save state).
It seems non-widescreen cheats can be applied at any time, but old ones will be saved in the save state and can't be removed.
I'm not sure why Widescreen patches didn't activate too after loading a save state.
They can also work in tandem with PCSX2's Widescreen Patches and Cheats (I really like de-noise cheat).

OK and i'm just curious how does the graphics look like if you are in a building for example
in the Wood Side Apartment and using only my patch and no other cheats/codes ?

The thing with savestates is that they capture everything the moment you make it. That includes game progress, possible bugs that the emulator might get, and cheats. The only thing that could be altered when loading states are the various settings that you make from the video/GS, memory card, audio, DVD and the emulation itself.
