Silent Hill 2 Soft Lock?

So to start off, I tried both version 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 (as of June 21st 2019) of PCSX2, and both Original and Greatest Hits USA versions of SH2 (loading from ISOs).
Menu loads fine, FMV runs smoothly, and James loads infront of the mirror as usual. I walk to exit the door but no buttons activate the exit, so I cannot leave the restroom. I've checked my input settings multiple times and tried with both my bluetooth controller and keyboard. Unless somehow I'm just pressing the wrong button, but as far as I know every required button is mapped correctly.

I found an old thread on here from 2014 that mentioned the same/similar issue, but OP brought up [redacted] and the thread was promptly closed unsolved. I'm running on Windows 10. Whatever sort of specs info needed to solve this just let me know and I'll provide.

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using, such as speed hacks or presets.
  • Your GSdx graphics settings (a picture of the settings dialog is preferred)
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

It's a completely new computer.
-I have tried both stable version 1.4.0 and 1.5.0 (specifically 1.5.0 revision 62417da?)
-I'm not using any speedhacks or presets, everything is default. Only change I made here was setting my "Adapter" to the Radeon RX 590, which should still technically be default.
Trying to play Silent Hill 2 Greatest Hits from an ISO.
Hope this info is sufficient.

Edit: I'd like to tack on that I've played SH 3 and 4 and they work fine so far. It just seems to be SH2 that's an issue.

I'm not quite sure how much the emuLog will help, I'm not seeing any errors in the text and the game doesn't crash on me or have any visual or auditory errors or anything, I just cant progress for some reason.

I'm pretty sure that's not a door. The door to James' left is what I'm having issues with, which seems to be the only exit.

Like I said, I've tried both ISOs for the original SH2 and Greatest Hits and the same issue happened in both. I cannot play from a disc directly, my tower I'm using does not have a disc drive. I know that the ISO is not the issue.
