I need to know how to fix this issue with silent hill 4 without slowing down the game

  • Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

i'm playing Silent Hill 4: The Room on ISO

and as for settings speed hacks are the only not default controls

Ok for one download the latest version http://pcsx2.net/download/releases/windows.html.... Also you don't need all those speed hacks... lower the sliders to minimum and tick the 2 mtvu and micro on right

Update to 1.0.0 as .0.9.8 is old and unsupported now.

Either download 1.0.0 or get the latest SVN by clicking here. Click on the Revision number and you'll get the download.

Yeah, you don't need those speedhaxx turned up to 3, turn them all the way down. You should only experiment with those sliders if you need a speed boost. If it can be managed, an overclock would be suitable before messing with speedhaxx for maximum stability and emulation accuracy. That APU should actually be able to run SH4 quite easily at the stock clock.

Ok i did get v1.0.0 and turned down the silders and unclicked the 2 mtvu but i'm still getting the same graphics issue

tried pressing F9 ?
