There's no need for you to patch anything anymore.
You'll have to use the 0.9.7 release of PCSX2 and the plugins (SPU2-X) that come with it:

And is the sound working good for you guys, for me it's looping

Sound works and the game looks great until you get in the hospital and go up the elevator (about 5 min in). At that point the flashlight is on and the graphics are FUBAR, like in the pic on the last page or worse. Solid black outside the light beam and all striped and messed up in it. Unplayable. Software mode fixes that, but is also unplayable. Super slow on a quad core AMD 955, Radeon HD 4890.
