Silent Hill Origins - little question
#1
Hi. This is my PC:
Intel Core i5-3470 3,2GHz@3,6GHz
8 GB Ram
Radeon 6870 1GB

For me Silent Hill Origins is working only with SOFTWARE DX11 mode. Game is in full speed, but original resolution is really bad.

Look at this:

When i play in hardware mode game has got a lot of graphic bugs and is unplayable.

Is there any possible to make this game look better?

PS. Game is awesome - one of the best on Silent Hill universum (for me SH2>SH1>SH3>Origins>Downpour>Shattered Memories>Homecoming)

What emulator version are you using?
I just tried it in PCSX2 1.1.0.r5462. It seems to work fine in dx10 hardware mode with 4x native res, though I only played until the part where he rescues the girl. Gonna play some more tomorrow.

I think some versions of the game have a hack in GSDX to disable the culprit effects.

I play official PCSX2 1.0 (try last SVN, but there is nothing better in this game). Game stop working properly in Alchemia Hospital (maybe 5 min after save girl).

I played until Alchemilla hospital. You're right, hardware mode is bugged. Software mode works.
