Sims castaway

I try to play this game with Pcsx2 version 0.9.7 r3649 (r3667 and r3113 as well) and it works. But there is one inconvenient: all the text commands disappear. Because this is beta version, I wonder if there is some config that I can enable the text.

Try pressing F9 to switch to the software renderer of GSdx. It WILL be slower though

Hi, sorry for the bump. Wondering if there are any other solutions to this? Because I'd like to see what I'm doing while NOT getting framerates that suggest someone is actually taking the pictures, getting them developed and then sending them to me - by carrier pigeon.

Or.. am I just SooL on this one?

You could try another graphics plugin like ZZOgl or ZeroGS but software renderer might be the only solution.
