Slow Gameplay and Sound
#1
Hi guys.

I am getting very slow gameplay and sound on any PS2 games.  I've been trying to get NFL Blitz Pro and NHL Hitz to work but I've had no luck.  The menus are fine but as soon as the actual game starts it gets REAL slow and the announcers and noise sound like its in slow motion.  Can anyone tell me if my PC specs are ok?  Or if you have any recommendations?

Intel i7 2600k 3.4 ghz
16 gb ram
Radeon RX590 graphics card

Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you!

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
[code]
Pasted emulog goes here

1 - do you happen to own another real PS2 console ?
2 - what did you do with your iso ? better compress it in cso format instead of gzip if you ask me.

Yes I still have them. Do you think a cpu/motherboard upgrade to a newer i7 processor would help? Or do you think the file compression will still be a problem?

i think this file compression could be a problem.
I also think you should dump your PS2 bios again from another console this time
