Slow SSX3

Hey guys, ive just downloaded this program, i think its a great idea.
However, SSX3 (the only game ive downloaded so far) runs pretty slow anytime when the game gets a little intensive.

How can i make it run faster? my pc can run crysis 2 at full settings at 1680x1050 so i dont think my hardware is the problem.
Here are my specs:

Windows Ultimate 64 bit
AMD Phenom II X4 955 Processor (4CPUs) ~3.2GHz
4096MB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 5890

All the settings are still on default. PLease help me out on this one, i really want to play SSX3 in all its glory once again!
