Also disable MTVU and see if that helps while still keeping vu cycle stealing.

Blyss, you are a goddess! That's fixed my sound issues!!! Okay, last thing. I have a pretty damn good computer i'd say, why am I not getting a constant 60 fps? Any ideas why i'm having frame rate drop?

PCSX2 is an incredibly demanding program that has slowdowns even on my rig.

When you get slowdowns, what is your EE and VU%

It can be found in the title bar when in windowed mode.

Make sure you play the game from an ISO and not directly from the disk.
