Slow down in FFXII
#1
The game runs great, except for sometimes the voices slow down and some cut scenes (not FMVs) slow down, also when actually fighting sometimes it slows down. I dont think its so much the frame rate, as the voices actually become deeper and really slow. I have a quad core 3.0ghz pc, with a GTX 280 graphics card so im sure its not limited by my pc. I am running the game at 1900 x 1200 (d3d) as well as the over all resolution the same. I am running it in directx10 mode using SSE41. Anyone know what is wrong? thanks

Seem you have to take vu skip in option for this game or you can try old peopspu 1.6 driver plugin and enable irq but you will get unsync between sound and frames in cutscene due slowdown and bit tick sound in movie game.

Unfortunately, from what you're saying - you're limited by your pc.

Im limited by my Pc, with a quad core 3.0ghz!! and a GTX 280!, this thing can play crisis on pretty much maximum!

Anyway the game plays fine , smooth as silk , until just certain scenes where there is not even any extra stuff for it to render and the cutscens are in-game rendered. I think there is somethign wrong somewhere.

Sure, like in you being limited by your pc.

Did you try turning speedhacks on/off?

lol, admittedly i have no idea how this emulator works, but im pretty sure it doesnt require, a super pc just to run a PS2 game. even if it is set to higher resolutions.

It doesn't require a super pc to run the game, but to play it decently only.
