Slow motion
#1
Hi,
I just installed the pcsx2 software on my pc.
When I try to play ratchet and clanck gladiator my game goes into slowmotion for some time, and at a certain point in runs in a normal tempo for like 5secs and then goes into slowmo again.
I have an amd fx 8350 processor with a r9 280x gpu and 8gb of ram.
Is my processor being a ***** here or are my pcs2x settings the issue?
I don't have any issues with the fps rate while playing.
I hope someone can help me out

you'll probably need to overclock a bit more, then.
what do the ee% & gs% say when it slows down ?

The OP will definitely need an OC on that chip. Gladiator/Deadlocked is likely the most demanding of the series. I'd say 4.6-4.8ghz would be a good target clock speed.

EE is at 100% in action, but even then I sometimes can play at normal speed for some seconds, gs stays around 30-50%.
Is the cpu the problem to this and if yes , is the only solution to it overclocking my cpu?
I also noticed that the sound slows down too when the game goes into slowmo
