Slowdown

Hello. I am having some slowdown issues while emulating games on PCSX2.

The Simpsons: Hit & Run, as well as a demo and prototype of it run at around 50% speed (except during startup), which is too slow.
Sonic Mega Collection Plus and SEGA Genesis Collection run overly fast during menus, but too slow while playing the games included.
Some other miscellaneous games I ran from the CD drive (Home Alone, Spider-Man 2 and Kill.switch) run at normal 100% speed.

How do I fix the slowdown (and speedup) issues?
My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home
Processor: Processor Intel Core i7-6500U CPU @ 2.50GHz, 2592 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)
RAM: 8 GB

Your CPU's STR is so-so. Which explains why some non demanding games are emulated correctly while others make your CPU suffer.
Setting your power plan to performance mode will be your best bet. Apart from that, play your demanding games on your PS2 until you can afford a more powerful machine.
Since you didn't mention it, I guess you're using the integrated GPU. Don't set internal red higher than native or 2x native
