Good Evening,
I hope I'm not out of turn in my inquiry for assistance; I've spent hours trying to research this on my own to no avail and have tried to follow the setup guides on the forums as well. I've got the later 2019 Razer Blade Stealth 13 with the below specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-1065G7
Ram: 16GB
SSD: 2TB PCIE m.2
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 GPU
Some PS2 titles such as Gauntlet: Seven Sorrows or Bujingai run full speed no issues, but I get rather dramatic drops in FPS on titles like Dirge of Cerberus and Nightshade. I'm on the latest dev build for PCSX2 and have tried multiple GSDX plugins with no change. I've tried native resolution, I've tried every Hardware and Software mode setting, and as the quick start guide recommended here for the sake of testing I've even set my resolution to 256 x 256 to no avail.
I'm aware some games like Champions of Norrath are very difficult to emulate, but I'm getting 60% to 70% speed on titles that it seems my computer should be more than powerful enough to handle. I've tried each of the presets with no change as well. I've also made certain the emulator is using my GPU and not Intel HD Graphics.
I'm stumped at this point; is there something more I can do? Thank you in advance!

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):

That's certainly an option, but I travel a lot and would prefer to use my laptop which is always with me as opposed to packing my PS2 and a stack of games everywhere I go. That and it's preferable to be able to upscale the graphics, use a wireless controller, etcetera.
Rather than just saying "use your PS2", could you tell me why with the power my Razer has it can't use PCSX2 at full speed for these games?

The only thing I can guess that you mean is because my bios is Japanese? If that's the case, I can go dump the bios from my PS2 slim real quick and post an updated log using those. I'm on something like my 10th PS2 and don't have the one that I got my bios from. I just move the same files from computer to computer over the years, so I'm using bios from I don't know how long ago.

Using a BIOS file with PCSX2 which you have downloaded from the internet or from a PS2 console you do not own is illegal. You must own the console the BIOS file came from (even if it's broken) to be legal.
