If someone remembers the *original* issue of the thread, never mind, thanks for now. I've discovered that the system is just voluble and visual effects may be disbled before starting PCSX2.

DX10 isn't slower for persona3.. It's running at 75+ FPS for me on 1680x1050 resolution, DX10 mode.

On DX9, it runs SLIGHTLY slower.

and when I had my Q6600 at stock 2.4Ghz, Persona3 was running 15fps faster on DX10 than DX9.

I think it's your video card. the 2600xt is very weak
