Just downloaded PCSX2 and started playing Grandia3 and Legaia 2. I only have constant 40fps. There are a few times it goes up to 60fps and down to 20fps.
How can I optimize my setup? I tried running diferent settings to no avail.
CPU: Ryzen5 5600H
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX350ti
RAM: 16GB
OS: WIN11
HD: SSD 2x 11TB
PCXS version: PCSX2 v1.7.5928
I’m also loading an HD texture pack. Tried with and without it but still fps remains mostly at 40fps.
Any idea how to fix this?

Yes, with or without it. I’m stuck at 40fps.

did you set windows power plan to high performance mode ?

Just turned off whisper mode. Everything works as intended now. I’m able to enable boost mode up to more than 150fps as well.
Gpu usage was 10-20%, now it’s around 30-40. Thought it was too low to begin with. Still acceptable levels and fans still quiet. Didnt know whisper mode reduced gpu use that much.
