[Socom 2/Issue] Number/Letter Textures Show As Sqaures
#1
I'm currently having the issue in the top right corner of this screenshot: [Image: YWT2Uzg.png]

It's SUPPOSE to say: Range: <range number> but that comes up instead, and also comes up anytime it requests those numbers as well. I've attempted all recommended changes:

Code:
EE Cyclerate 3, VU Cycle Stealing 3, everything in speedhacks page enabled, Delay VIF1 Stalls (automatically applied by (...)

As well as trying ZeroGS GFX plugin and different GSDX settings I've also attempted all default values as well. It seems like its not a problem with the graphical renderer as both of them do the same thing in Software or hardware mode. Nothing seems to change anything.

I'm also experiencing graphical artifact flickers (that show as big green blocks) over my cross hairs occasionally as well.

Although the PCSX2 video is using an old version I see that it displays exactly what I want it to display perfectly fine here:

If anybody could help me out I'd really appreciate it. I can provide any screenshots of my current settings if anything is unclear.

try fiddling with the hardware hacks, you might find something useful.

Disable those slider speedhacks first. It is in the first point highly questionable that EE->3 and VU-> give best results at all. Then they can always lead to bugs.

Additionally try setting Clamping modes to Full + preserve sign.

Please provide the full emulog after you observed the problem.

I tried all the HW hacks - none of them changed the problem at all.

Try giving the latest development builds a shot.

can you please try to set vu0/1 to superVU?

If that doesn't help what happens if you set all components to interpreter and not to recompiler? (will be slow as hell...)
