you can set extra rendering threads if you have an adequate cpu
or just overclock
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

As noted, above there are a few small things you can try, but in general not much. Software mode is all about accuracy, accuracy on CPU time means it's resource intensive.
