[Solved][Dev] Question about GUI edit (Text descriptions for hacks)
#1
So I want to update the patched GSdx again for ToA with the most recent GSdx available, but I figured, rather than keeping it labeled as 'halfpixel offset', why not just name it ToA Ghost Fix. This worked fine, but I was unable to change the description for the hack itself...... can anyone tell me how to change this?

Naming it like this makes you think it is only useful in ToA and I'm not sure if that's true.

In the case of this hack it is. It's completely made for ToA and no other game lol. (already tested it out on other games with ghost issues)

It's basically a completely separate custom GSdx just for ToA. That's why I wanted to label the hack that way too, rather than something general.

Look in plugins/GSdx/GSSetting.cpp.

There are several games that the wiki claims they are fixed by it. Not a good idea.

Idk what wiki pages are claiming that, but feel free to remove it. I clearly stated it was for ToA only.

I have highlighted the line which requires change to replace the text. https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/blob/mast...ng.cpp#L59

since it's just a custom patch, it's no problem. Smile

I don't know if that's the correct fix but the ghosting also disappear for example in GoW2 with that option enabled(at least on the GSdx version I'm using)
