[Solved] Dragon Quest VIII Freeze glitch on title screen change

I updated from 1.5.0 3175 to 1.7.0 827 and got a new bug(?). Dragon Quest VIII freezes for few seconds when it changes from opening movie to title screen, giving also not to pleasant to the ears sound glitch.

I haven't played more on this version, went back to previous one.

Yes, there is a regression. https://github.com/PCSX2/pcsx2/pull/4085 This is to fix that regression.

Yeah a PR or Pull Request is basically code with a request for changing the main code which then get translated into development builds at some point and then finally the stable.

Indeed, 1.7 are unstable builds, they're called that for a reason Tongue But if you want the latest fixes, that's the risk you take.
