Some CHD isos doesn't work.
#1
The vast majority of isos work, but there are some that do not work in .CHD (the BIOS says that there is no disk).
If I unzip them to .bin they run again. Even in .gz .
But not in .CHD.
For example Chou Aniki - Seinaru Protein Densetsu (Japan).chd,  Atelier Marie + Elie - Salburg no Renkinjutsushi 1 & 2 (Japan).chd or XII Stag (Europe).chd

if you're using 1.6, it doesn't have CHD support, you need to get a 1.7 development build (under the download section on the main page)

if you are, you need to give us more details about your setup than "chd no worky"

Obviously I use 1.7. If not, I would not have said that the majority run. None would run.

I have tried several builds including the latest one.

seems to think it's an audiocd or not a valid CHD. How did you compress it? we provide a set of tools we know work here https://u.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=kZDH81kZHH9txOzWRSfidhxYhMviSYe30lW7#folder=8834430206&tpl=publicfoldergrid

So give those a try and see if that works fine for you.

I compressed all the isos with chdman (always the last version) but I tried with a few different versions for checking if it was the problem with the isos what don't run.
My command line is: for /r %%i in (*.cue, *.gdi) do chdman createcd -i "%%i" -o "%%~ni.chd"

It's the same than yours. But I compressed with your .bat and the game runs.

So I've just tried two things:
1.- the chdman version you have (I use 0.240 and you have the 0.229)
With my .bat, the game continues without working .
2.- I used 0.240 with yours. The game run.

So I'm getting crazy.
Same command line. Same chdman version. But if I compress the game in your folder, Cho Aniki (for example) runs and its size is 343MB. And in my folder, the game doesn't run and its size is 399MB.
I don't understand!! haha
And why a few games don't run but hundred of them do? (compressed with my own same chdman and .bat)

I couldn't tell you, I don't know what your batch file contains.

ONLY that line. It's a X-File.

No clue then, only difference I can see is our CHDMan is from 1996, apparently.
