Some cutscenes in Grandia 3 are extremelly slow
#1
Hi, i decided to play Grandia 3. Game running perfect, with full speed (game and video) except most cutscenes. For example, during first cutscenes when Miranda is on her way back to her home, fps drop to 25-40. It`s so sad Sad.
I see devs used something like dynamical lights in most cutscenes. Thats why fps extremelly goes down. Sure i can set the resolution to native and playing with "bad" graphics or just skip the scene. I don`t want do this coz story line very important for me.

Specs:
563 pcsx2pg vm ( 626 pcsx2pg vtlb no make difference)
Gsdx 891 0.1.14 SSE4.1 ( 1280*1024 res, DX9). DX10 mode is slower.
Spu2ghz 1.9.0
MTGS on, x2 Cycle rate, others two speedhack are on

There are any solution make cutscenes running faster?Huh

you have a 8400 at 3.0Ghz with SSE41, now think about me that have a 6550 at 2.33Ghz with SSSE3, in some scenes it gets so slow that a want to kill the person that made alfina voice, all the rest of the game run between 45-60fps.

Yeah I've noticed this as well using the ZeroGS plugin. I can run everything decently 60 game and 45 fps per battle with about 4xAA on but once it hits some cutscenes I need to back it down to no AA to get decent speeds and then just looks ugly. Also sometimes I need to flash though the AA settings to clean up garbage below the screen.

I think it just is those cutscenes are ingame with texture settings and other things ramped up.
