why is there a "patchnumber: 0..." in the console? are you playing with patches enabled? if so, disable them, restart pcsx2 and try again

Actualy yes it does. Game looks stable, and Im getting npc text and the proper subtitle text. I'll play for a bit and see if there are any issues that come up.
