Something I don't understand about the framerate...
#1
I mean, how ISN'T 45 fps perfect? Ok with the new unofficial GSD, I'm getting perfect frame rates. Actually my rig can take it VERY high up, but I have to keep it at 45 frames. 45 frames (atleast for me) plays AT PS2 speeds. It is NOT slow, the music, the animation, run as smooth as PS2. If I turn it to 50-60 everything speeds up. It is NOT PS2 framerate, even though it moves quicker. The music plays 'faster', the animation is 'faster' everything. I compare my 45 frames to actual PS2 footage online and its the same. Why would anybody want to go beyond 45?

I'll also add the fact that I OC'd my CPU from 2.2 GHz to 3.3 GHz thus making my games run perfectly.

its just that ps2 emulatoin is different then pc gaming.

ps2 games are in a certain fps if above it runs faster if below it runs slower.
and....how are you getting 45 fps at games while pal games are locked at 50 and ntsc games at 60? O.o

You can set a custom frame rate in the limiter. I guess it could be a bug in the detection code, or you overreacting since 45fps VS 50 fps which is actual full speed for PAL games is so close it's very hard to discern.

You can put 45 in cpu limit. Testing with shadow hearts 3, I don't see myself playing the game at 45fps, the sound is choppy, game play is slow compre to actual ps2 and pcsx2 limit at 60 fps. It might work with Pal game, but NTSC not so much.

Thats the thing, 45 FPS is running my games at PS2 level speeds. Going 50 and 60 makes the games speed up real fast and not speed up as in super smooth, speed up as in its like you're playing a game in fast foward.

There are a very small number of games with a wrong counter update rate.
Afaik it's just Transformers the Game that's affected.

Still, can someone explain to me why 45 is giving me PS2 speeds and 50, and 60 frames is giving me fast foward?
