I've only played FFX on PCSX2 thus far, but I've noticed that for whatever reason, the directions on the analog stick get reversed on certain screens, and it never goes away for those particular screens.
For example, to go right, I have to push left on the analog stick, etc. Has anyone else had this problem, and what did you do to fix it?
Thank you.

That only happens in very specific scenes and it's due to the round modes, you can change them negative (I think that's the one to have oO), just be glad it's only reversed direction movement, it used to be a flipped screen

Round modes? What does that mean?

An internal emulation thing. Rounding for the floating point unit in the PS2 is difficult to emulate.
We have a "Round Mode" setting in the emulator options to let users fix some occasional problems such as this one.
Change it to "negative" on the "EE/IOP" configuration tab and try again.

Oh, very interesting. I didn't realize that a rounding error could cause things like reverse controls, etc. There have been a few battles in the game where my character or enemy is standing in the opposite direction. Very interesting.
Thanks for the links, too. I read the FAQ when I first started using PCSX2, but had forgotten all about that rounding thing.

Setting the EE clamping mode to 'Full' works too.
