You might try setting the "VU Cycle Stealing" to 1 and see if you have more speed(setting it too high may result in the opposite effect and pcsx2 to randomly crash)

Thanks for the help, I'll most likely use VU Cycle Stealing for other games. Thank you all for the help!

This is a bit of a long shot but have you been able to figure it out cause I would really like to not have to use the software settings as the game looks blurry.
