Soul Calibur 3 Slowdown

Hey, i've recently tried emulating Soul Calibur 3, but I can't get a good framerate going. The wiki says it's a "light game" my hardware specs seem decent enough to run it, but I can't get over ~60% speed.

  1. Are there settings that make it run faster?
  2. Is there some way to make the game run at 30fps instead of 60?

the wiki is lying.
this game is really demanding and you CPU has an STR barely above 1100 where it would require around 1800-2000
this you can do :
- Overclock above 4.0 Ghz
- use recommended speedhacks + ee cyle rate to 1, maybe 2
- pray
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

I've tried the speedhacks (and praying), still can't seem to get it up too high.

Is there a way to make the game run at 30fps? I'd happily take the loss of framerate fidelity if the game ran at full speed.

problem is in a PS2, framerate is synced to the actual gameplay speed.
you can still try to use the skipdraw option, though
