Question
Hi everyone, im new in this forum, i've downloaded the lastest version of pcsx2(1.0) and configured according to the guides.

I've played ffx, and it runs without any problems but in the cinematic scenes, the sound is out of sync with the video. how i can fix it?

My pc is an asus g53sx and i used the default plugins that comes with the version 1.0

Thanks

PD: sorry for my english... Blush

Hi, this are my settings:

also i saw that the subtitles don't work in the cinematics and running the game sometimes sounds very metallic sound, as if it will lock but returns to normal.

i think that the game is runing more fast that the normal.

thanks

The metalic sound must be because of the interpolation method used which causes aliasing in the field over 11050Hz so better use an Interpolation method like Catmull-Rom which makes more smooth and natural those frequencies over that. The Linear one you use has the most noticable artifacts which may be a bit too annoying for a human ear and could make you have a headache.
Also make sure you use framelimmiting using F4 to mentain a correct speed of your game.

thanks a lot, i fix the metallic sound when playing, but the problem in the cinematics persist Sad

i checked, and i'm sure that i'm using framelimmiting.

Sure.
And dont forget NOT to come back here.
If you dont have a ps2, you have no legal right to use pcsx2.
