Speed Problem,,,,Some Questions
#11
Well Rezard, Thanks for your advise. I'll try it in software mode. May be the FPS will go up. and YES, my laptop has Core i5 processor with 3GB DDR3 Ram, 320GB HDD, 14" HD LCD Wide Screen Display and Intel Graphics HD (128MB Dedicated VRam). Thanks.

@ Mohin420: Woah, hold on a sec. Are you sure your Acer Aspire 4740 has a Core i5? Or is it a Core i3 330M 2.13Ghz?

well its hard to get playable speeds with software mode. maybe if he had a cpu equal or greater (greater is recommended lol) to get good speeds i can play kingdom hearts 2 at 60 fps average with software but as u see it needs some power Tongue also try to change the sw rend threads from 1 until 4 and see with what u get more speed! (i think those are for the best speed)

Have you increased the number of threads to use?

But still Like I get a 7FPS decrease when running DBZ BT3 So it's kinda natural thing also I have noticed that the SW.THREADS Should be set to 1 to get 7FPS decrease so we have law of Software rendering "Increase in threads makes a decrease in speed" Happy
