I have recently downloaded pcsx2 to play games that was not available at my region. I played Dawn of Mana, but most of the times my frame rate drop from 60 to 30 and the speed drop to 60%.
My specs are:
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 660
CPU: Intel® Xeon® CPU E5430
RAM: 20 GB DDR2
I've tried to change the emulation settings at GS, but the cutscenes seems more speed up as something skips and I tried the video plugins. But everytime the speed drops to 60%.
Can someone please help me. Can I fix this or must I buy a new graphic card?

What do the ee % and gs% say when it's slow ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070

ok. cpu is struggling, then.
maybe you should try tinkering a bit with speedhacks.
start by enabling mtvu, and push ee cycle rate a notch

Now with the ee cycle skipping to 1, the speed is is now at 55%, ee at 44%-58% and gs is around 37%-50%
