Spider-man 2 downloaded ISO or disc copy?

I got PCSX2 mainly just to play Spider-man 2, and was very disappointed to find that I need to run it in software mode which dramatically slows the game and makes it look kind of bad. I am currently using a downloaded ISO from *redacted*. I'm willing to go out and buy a disc copy of the game if it will run better that way. Does anyone know if the disc copy will help with the graphical glitches when running in hardware mode?
