Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly FPS slowdowns

Hello, 
I am trying to play Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly, but my gameplay seems to be consistently choppy, even though I can see that the game always runs between 59 and 60 fps. And there seems to be no real reason for it, it seems completely random. 

- Your hardware specs - CPU, Graphics Card, Memory, Operating System.
Intel i7 6700k @ 4.00Ghz
GTX 1080 Ti
32GB RAM
Windows 10

- The version of PCSX2 you are using.
1.6.0

- Any non default settings you are using.
See "Naamloos".

- What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.
Spyro: Enter The Dragonfly (2002), from ISO file.

Just checked out the game for you, out of curiousity.. 
Because your system is general better then mine, even your 5yo gpu defeats my new 2022 - RX6600 in some departments !

Can say, spyro runs just perfect on my AMD system so far..  No hickups...so far.. but then again, github builds are updated almost daily i've noticed  
Must say, pscx2 is currently configurated properly for my system for pretty much all games imo .
