Spyro - Enter the Dragonfly low FPS
#1
Hi everyone. Game runs well, but near the water fps is lower and music is twice slower. When the water is far fps is good.
I'm using PCSX2 1.6 on Core i3 530, 6Gb RAM, AMD HD 7870, Windows 7.
All settings are default.

you should be fine with a decent cpu.
that one is too weak for ps2 emulation most of the time
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

other games = other requirements
you can try keeping internal res to native, but not much you can do apart of it.
Using latest dev build isn't an option either since you're using win 7.
i guess you oinly choice is to bear with it, or keep playing on your ps2 until you can get a decent machine

Your CPU has a STR of 1178.  Most 3D games are going to be to demanding, even if you try to adjust your settings
Windows 11 64 bit OS
Intel Core i7-10700
Geforce RTX 2060 6GB
32 GB DDR4 RAM

Single thread rating. Or, also known as STP, single thread performance. PCSX2 requires a STR of 2100 or higher. For 3D games, they usually recommend up to 2300
