Star Ocean 3 (SO3) Map black terrain/Everything disappears
#1
I got the game finally working without lagging (7fps) =D
-Video is good.
-Sound is good.
-FPS 55-60. (Some times 20-30, depends on the map)

My problem is, that on some maps and in battles I get this weird bug. Everything disappears or the terrain changes to black, green or white. Also the text disappears.

I tried many configs but nothing helped. Is there any other working gsdx's? Or something else is at fault here? Sad Please help me. I couldn't find any solution for a whole day now u.u

The Bug
-It happens mostly on Aire.

Also I get this when I run PCSX2

A couple of points: Use the latest PCSX2 version and plugins! Don't overdo with the speedhacks and remember to turn them off when you encounter a cut scene glitching. It's known that the VU cycle hack causes that.

Thank you.
Problems so far:
-I still get the vertical lines with this setup.
-Some times when I change map or a scene starts, I wait a few minutes for it to load 1-5 minutes.
-Sometimes when I play, everything freezes for 1-4 sec. Happens very rarely.

My setup:
PCSX2 1.0.0 (r5350)
-Progressive mode
-No speed hack

GSdx 5334(MSVC 16.00, SSE41) 0.1.16 [gsdx32sse4-r5350]
-Direct3D 10 (Hardware)
-2x native (If 5x I get 10-20 fps in some places)
-Texture filtering (square)
-Allow 8-bit Textures (tick)
-Extra rendering threads 8

LilyPad svn (r5282) 0.11.0 [lilypad-r5350]
-PS3 Joystick

SPU2-X r5324m 2.0.0 [spu2-x-r5350]
-Catmull-Rom
-Disable Effects Processing (tick)
-Use the de-alias filter (tick)
-XAudio 2 (Volume 100% | Latency 153ms(avg))
-Async Mix

Linuz Iso CDVD 0.9.0 [cdvdiso-r5350]

Questions:
-Extra rendering threads 8 doesn't change anything. I would like to know what this does =D
-Does gsdx32sse4 mean 32bit? If so where can I get 64.

Actually, the extra rendering threads will be useful in software mode only
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

-for vertical lines nothing u can do except native resolution
to game look better u can untick mvu flag hack in speedhacks
-if loading time is slow
tick enable fast cdvd in speedhacks
if not useful,untick it
-how is direct3d9 or direct3d11 hardware ?

The game might not like the async mix option. Always disable that first when you encounter issues (like long loading times).
You say that anything above 2x scaling already drops you to 20FPS. This means 2x scaling is the limit of your card and
there'll be scenes when even that is too much and you get slowdowns. Try overclocking the GPU and GPU memory (if you feel
confident in doing that).
