Star Ocean - 'till the end of time NTCS-U
#1
Hi,

I've had some serious troubles recently running the game.
I've been able to make multiple full games 1 year ago of Star ocean 3.
The problem is from the EE cycles. It sometimes enter a loop and just never exit, or just crash.
This might be due to recent Win7 64bits updates changing multi-threading handling.

Here's a report;

Many people say that "TLB Miss" errors are because of bad ISO rips.

Bad ISO Rips or faulty Cheat Codes are mostly those TLB Miss Errors.

That would probably makes sense, a CD would've probably melted with the number of hours i played that game in total. Didn't knew the ISO data could be damaged over time.
Thanks guys.

Edit; nope no hacking/cheating. Probably messed data on HD.

As Blyss Sarania said, you should re-rip the CD with Imgburn at lowest reading speed.
If there are read-errors, then you could try and wash it.

Wow, another Star Ocean Till' the End of Time fan. I also have the game, and may image-rip a copy for use on PCSX2. I just found the program, and have been having fun playing some old game while I'm traveling.

Also, I apologize for my irrelevant topic. I just had to comment, because I tend to think it rare to find others who enjoy this game. I practically melted an old copy I had, but I recently bought a new one back in 08'. Haven't really played it, but re-visiting some old game snow that I discovered PCSX2.
