Hi guys. I need help in configuring my plugins for SWBF2. When I use software mode, it runs smoothly but the sky textures are missing, it's just black. But when I use hardware mode, it fixes the graphics problem but greatly reduces the FPS down to 20-22. Doesn't matter which plugin I use OpenGL, Direct3D9 or Direct3D11, they all result to the same problem.
I've also searched for this problem before and some people seem to have their problems fixed just buy switching to software mode without lowering their FPS.
Here are my specs: (using a laptop btw)
- Intel Core i5-6300HQ CPU @ 2.30GHz (4CPUs), ~ 2.3GHz
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M
- 4096MB Ram
- Windows 10 64-bit
I'm using PCSX2 1.4.0, with no non default settings. Switching to preset 2 or 3, depending when my laptop is plugged in or not.
If it helps, I've already finished RE: Code Veronica X with no emulation problems. I've tried playing Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance II and I'm experiencing some fps drops but not much--about 80% at most, usually when I access the menu but it plays fine. Other games that work with no problems include Dark Cloud, Obscure and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
